Gabriel Gomez-Sandoval is the beloved son of CFLCA founder and first Executive Director, Guadalupe (Lupe) Sandoval. As a sophomore in High School, Gabriel was diagnosed with Leukemia. He battled this disease fearlessly and quietly, however he passed in 2005 as an optimistic and determined college student. Gabriel's dream was to become a teacher. His love for education and passion for giving back were the inspiration for this scholarship fund. Congratulations to the 2022 Scholarship Recipients!
