These trainings are designed to be interactive with facilitation provided by a live qualified trainer (learn more about state of California compliance requirements here). Each video has multiple discussion breaks, detailed in the facilitator guides, which combine with the video run time to create an interactive training and meet the required minimum training time.

Training Requirements for Farm Labor Contractors

  • Non-supervisory workers must receive one hour of training at the time of hire, and then every two years.
  • Crew leaders, foremen, supervisors, and managers must receive two hours of training within 30 calendar days (or 100 working hours) of assuming the position, and then every calendar year.
Training Requirements for Non-FLCs
  • Non-supervisory temporary or seasonal employees (contracted for less than 6 months) must receive one hour of training within 30 calendar days (or 100 working hours) of hire and then every two years.
  • Crew leaders, foremen, supervisors, and managers must receive two hours of training within 6 months of assuming the position and then every calendar year.
