Train the Trainer: Heat Illness Prevention (online)
This 2.5hrs online seminar for mayordomos, supervisors, HR, and safety personnel provides practical and interactive education on how to prevent, recognize, and respond to heat illness. Participants will also examine how to implement policies to protect workers and methods to provide effective heat illness prevention training for employees. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of:

Cal/OSHA Heat Illness Prevention standards and real world applications.
- Heat Illness Prevention in Indoor Places of Employment (effective July 23, 2024).

Common violations and how to avoid them.

Enforcement & regulatory updates.

Critical issues for worker health and safety and liability concerns.

How to conduct effective training and assure compliance.
All participants must be registered and will receive a certificate of completion and resources from the training. Multiple individuals can participate via a single connection.

Confirmation emails will be sent to each attendee, and the person purchasing will receive a registration summary at the email address associated with their account.
CANCELATION POLICY: Due to limited capacity, we are unable to grant refunds. Registration fees may be credited to a future course when requested a minimum of 72 hours in advance and will be subject to a transfer fee of $50.00. Transfer fees will be waived for CFLCA members. No shows or failure to submit requests 72 hours in advance will forfeit all registration fees.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Registrant information, including substituting/transferring to a different individual may be accepted when requested at least 72 hours in advance.
