Join us for an insightful keynote on efforts being taken to improve the state FLC licensing process with Melinda Davis, Assistant Chief for the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement’s Licensing & Registration Unit (LRU) – the agency that oversees FLC license processing in California. When Ms. Davis returned to the LRU in the spring of 2023, she moved quickly to implement new policies and procedures that eliminated the backlog triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The LRU continues working to identify opportunities for advancements and prioritizing an improved customer service experience and communication for FLCs. In her keynote, Ms. Davis will share her experiences managing these critical operations, the innovative changes her team has implemented, and what lies ahead for further improvements.
